"Who so you say that I am?"

Mark 8:29

The disciples knew Jesus's name. They knew where Jesus came from and what his occupation was before they followed him. The question Jesus possesses goes beyond his name. Did they understand Jesus was the Christ, the God-man?

We may know Christ's name, but has His divine nature touched us, and are we growing in our knowledge of Him? If we believe Jesus to be Lord, do we say that by how we live? How we see Christ and know Him is how we desire to live.

Who do you say God is in your life right now? How would you describe the Lord and your relationship with Him? Beloved, only you can answer this. It would be worth reflecting upon today and for all the day's God shall bless you with.

c" I shall ransom them from the power of Sheol; I shall redeem them from Death."

Hosea 13:14

The greatest fear of man is death. The reality of which we cannot escape. No matter how well we care for ourselves, death comes to everyone at some point. It reminds us of our fallen condition, the penalty of sin, and the consequences of rebellion against God.

While we were in this fallen state of hopelessness, Christ came. He died for our iniquity and redeemed us from the penalty of sin. The resurrection and ascension of Jesus assure us of our resurrection. The promise of being with God for all eternity because Christ has conquered sin and death on our behalf.

We have hope for today when strength slowly departs from our spirit and body. We believe we shall see all those who have died in Christ. Today, we rest in the promise of eternity and that Christ has gone to prepare a place for us where we shall dwell with Him for all eternity.

"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in Glory in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:19

Beloved, the assurance we have for today is not in ourselves or in what we can accomplish with our resources. It is knowing that the creator of heaven and earth has promised to sustain us.

The Lord has promised to supply His people with grace and mercy, to give us strength for the day while enabling us to walk uprightly before Him. To give us a way of escape from temptation, strength to resist the enemy, and His armor for the battle when we are tempted.

God has promised to supply all of our needs and to enable us to have fellowship with Him in Christ. Be assured today that the Lord is with you and willing to help you. Put your trust in Him and God will meet you at every point.
