A Change of Heart | Sep. 8th

“I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you.”

   Ezekiel 36:26

Beloved, what is our hope in having a change of heart? Is there a hope for a new life? Christ is the only One who can make us alive and give us life abundantly.

When we come to understand the holiness of God and how hopeless we are in being good by God's standard, we realize it is Christ alone who saves us. Our transformation is a work of the Holy Spirit. The life that was once dead in sin is made alive in Christ. The Lord gives us a new heart; we are born again.

In this new life, we enjoy fellowship with God and His promise to abide with us. We are constantly changing into a greater likeness of Jesus as we pursue Him. This change begins and continues because of God’s mercy and grace. Take hope in Him today. Trust that the Lord is at work in your life and that you cannot be separated from Him.

In Christ Alone.
