A Morning Song | June 19th

"O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;"

Psalm 5:3

Beloved, let the Lord hear your voice this morning. Early in the morning, I listen to the birds singing around the house. It is a lovely way to start the day. Usually, I take a few moments to listen to their symphony.

It often brings a smile to my face when I hear them, and it immediately sets my heart to prayer. Do you think the Lord may delight in hearing our voices?

Can you imagine that the God of all creation takes note of our specific voices and the cries that come from our hearts? Would you believe that God responded to our cries and took an interest in our unique needs? The Lord knows you, beloved, and He desires to meet with you. Will you lift your voice to Him this morning?

In Christ Alone.
