"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

Lamentations 3:22-23

In the midst of his lament, Jeremiah recalls God's steadfast love, mercy, and faithfulness.

Beloved, perhaps you are laden with sorrow today? Does it appear that the circumstances of life are against you? Maybe you felt that things were coming together for you, only to be disappointed. Let not your heart be troubled and hope in God.

The day could have started with difficulty but God's mercy has been made new for you in greater measure. Nothing will change the faithfulness of the Lord in your life. He will bring you through this season. God remains steadfast in His love toward you.

The Lord will not depart from you or remove His help. God is for His people and for those who have put their trust in Him. Though you do not see the hand of God now, rest assured He is at work and His purposes will be fulfilled in your life. God's mercy never comes to an end.

In Christ Alone.
