A Song for the Day | March 21st

"All creation, come praise the name of the Lord. Praise his name alone. The glory of God is greater than heaven and earth."

Psalm 148:13

One of the wonders and beauty of this season is the predawn symphony. In those moments of twilight in predawn, there is a host of God's creations who give a sweet melody. Far more soothing and majestic than any windchime. The birds of creation greet the dawning of the day with their song.

The fowl of the sky serves as a testament to the God of Creation. A witness to His power, wisdom, and lovingkindness. Beloved, may our ears be opened to their choir and stirred to lift our voices to our God. They are creatures of instinct while we have been made in the image of the Creator. We choose to worship. Thoughts and emotions joined together in adoration and gratitude. We have far more to awaken the day with. Far more to be grateful for. Let us start this day with an attitude of praise. For we are the children of God.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
