Call on the Lord | March 17th

"He regards the prayer of the destitute and does not despise their prayer."

Psalm 102:17

Beloved, the God of creation, regards your prayer today. The Lord turns His attention towards you when we plead for mercy. His regard is not a passing acknowledgment but one of deep affection. God's love for you is steadfast. He is for you and not against you.

The Lord will not reject the plea for mercy or disregard those who seek His help. God makes His mercy new for you each morning. His providence is working all things for the good of your salvation. There is no care He does not know or a problem God will not help you with.

God knows that our frame is weak, that our lives are but a vapor, and that our only hope is in Him. The gentle Savior will not pass you by but faithfully will attend to you as you call on His name.

In Christ Alone.
