"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord."

Jeremiah29:11

Everyone has plans. Some plans are short-term in purpose, while others are for the future. We organize a daily routine intentionally, and other moments are spontaneous. Some of our plans include others, and some are for private endeavors. We experience failure, success, lessons, and mistakes through our plans.

It is hard to imagine that the God of creation has a plan for us. He created us with a purpose and knows every detail of our lives. If we understand that the exalted end of our life is to live for God and to enjoy our eternal fellowship with the Lord, then we must seek His plan for us.

Why would we not want God's plan for us? He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, steadfast in love, faithful, merciful, and good. Beloved, with all your planning today, pause for a moment and quiet yourself before God. Seek His face and ask the Lord to fulfill His will in your life today. There is no guarantee that things will turn out as you want them, but there is the promise that God will be with you in all things as you follow Him.

In Christ Alone.
