Everlasting Light | Sep. 30th

 “Your sun shall no more go down, nor your moon withdraw itself; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended.”

  Isaiah 60:20

   Beloved, with Christ we have more than a light at the end of the tunnel. We are often told to look at the bright side of circumstances, but if the truth be told, there is none. We do not see tomorrow, and we are in the dark concerning the future.

  However, God is providentially working in your life. Because of Him, we are not in complete darkness, no matter how difficult the situation or how painful the sorrow. The Lord is with us, guiding us, even if we are passing through the valley of death. With Him, there is nothing to dread. Take comfort today, believe that the Lord is with you. Christ is the peace and hope that can never be extinguished from our lives.
