"Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity!"

Psalm 133

Beloved, the Psalmist calls for our attention unto something good and pleasant. In this case, we are to look at the beauty of unity.

We will not focus on unity now but on the call to behold. All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. In that fallen state, our spirits were dead in sin, and our minds darkened. This is not to say that a sinner cannot appreciate all that is beautiful to the eye, ear, and mind, but it is only the child of God who knows the origin of that which is good, pure, and beautiful.

As we grow in deeper understanding of God and His ways, He opens our understanding to all the glories of heaven and earth. We can behold that which pleases Him with a longing for more. Let us pray that God continues to open our eyes to His common grace in this world and the wondering of God's saving grace in our lives. Let us behold the Lord.

In Christ Alone.
