Fear Not | June 10th

"Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."

John 14:27

Easier said than done is likely our immediate response to the troubles of the day. Everyone has faced various trials and temptations. Circumstances weigh upon the soul-baring down upon the heart and mind almost to the point of breaking. In such times, we would give up if not for God's mercy.

For the child of God who has passed through the valley of the shadow of death, there they have found a grace that is beyond description. The Comforter comes within the darkness and speaks words of life. The Holy Spirit tells us not to fear or to be troubled. For God is with us and will not forsake His own.

The encouragement from the Lord comes with the promise of His peace. A peace that keeps the heart and mind. Be still, the Spirit of God is with you, and His peace will comfort you.

In Christ Alone.
