“Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity....He does not retain his anger forever, because he delights in steadfast love.”

   Micah 7:18

Beloved, we have angered others. There have been times when this was warranted because we hurt or sinned against another person. Unfortunately, the relationship was severed because of our actions. In some instances, we apologized, sought forgiveness and restoration, but unfortunately, we were not received. There are those who remain angry despite repeated attempts to bring reconciliation.

Let us not believe that our Lord deals with us in the same manner, for we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. He who seeks forgiveness through repentance finds the mercy of God. The Lord is holy and just but willing to forgive. The Lord will pardon you today if you humble yourself beneath His mighty hand. There you shall find that the steadfast love of God will restore you.

In Christ Alone.
