“I thank God in all my remembrance of you,”

   Philippians 1:3

Beloved, it is good for us to remember with gratitude to God for those who have been and are a blessing to us. The believer is encouraged, shaped, and challenged by the body of Christ. We are told that each member has something to offer by the enablement and orchestration of God.

It is the Lord who gifts His people and, through his providential wisdom, puts us together. Sometimes this fellowship will span many years, while others are but a brief moment. However, none of it is in vain.

Let us take a moment today and thank God for those who have been brought into our lives and who have already entered into their reward. Let us also thank God for those who are in our lives today as a gift from Him, and may we endeavor to be used by God in the lives around us so that they may give thanks to Him for us.

In Christ Alone.
