Have you Responded | Sep. 29th

“Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.”

   1 Peter 5:7

Beloved, have you responded to your invitation from the Lord? As with any earthly invitation, it is up to the recipient to respond. Those who are invited to a celebration or enjoy the fellowship of others must save the date and set aside time to attend.

God has invited you to cast your cares upon Him. Because of His love for you , God desires that you not carry your burdens. The God of all comfort wants you to be at peace concerning the circumstances of your life. That you would trust in His providence, provision, and protection. Have you responded to Him?

Will you continue to do things in your own strength, will you only rely upon your wisdom, and will you remain in a constant state of fretting? Let us respond to the Lord’s invitation today. Let us be assured by His love that we can come to Him while laying down our heavy burden. There is peace in God’s providence.

In Christ Alone.
