Justice | June 5th

"Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave."

Genesis 18:20

The Lord was aware of the condition of Sodom and Gomorrah. The gravity of their sin and the outcry from within would not go unpunished.

Throughout human history and to the present day, sin and the wickedness caused by the sins of others have not gone unnoticed by God. The wrath of God in righteous judgment will judge the wickedness of the ages as these two cities.

The child of God assumes the posture of Abraham in being light in the darkness. We are looking for a city whose builder and maker is God. Passing through this world as we look for our true home with God. Knowing that the justice of God will prevail and He will make all things new in the age to come.

"Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done. I am Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."
