Mercy Never Ends | Sep 16th
“ His mercies never come to an end.”
Lamentations 3:22
Beloved, have you ever dreaded the end of something? While on holiday, with each passing day, you think about it coming to an end and then returning to the normal routine of life. Spending time with those you love brings joy and warmth, but the departure isn't pleasant, and you can feel disappointed.
This temporal life provides more examples than we care for that remind us how fleeting things are. Our strength and resources need constant refreshing, and time will come when strength will be no more, and we will leave this world the same way we came, with nothing in hand.
Glory be to God, for the mercy that formed us in our mother's womb is the same grace that sustains us today, and it will be this same mercy that leads us into the eternal dawn when all is renewed. The mercies of God are inexhaustible. God’s mercy remains constant, reflecting His unchanging nature. As we depend on Him, we depend on His mercy. Therefore, approach God with confidence and openness; you will be received, for mercy has prepared a path for you.
In Christ Alone.
