“Turn to me and be gracious to me; give your strength to your servant.”

  Psalm 86:16

Beloved, what do you ask of the Heavenly Father today? Shall we ask for the physical needs of life, or shall we come to the fullness of God’s storehouse and ask for the richest of blessings?

When we realize our frailty and how far we fall short of God’s glory, we are compelled to humility and then ask for His grace. God's holiness compels the heart to seek His grace. The plea, in light of a dark world and a war waged upon the soul, is that the eyes of our Savior fall upon us.

May Christ the Redeemer shine His face upon us and empower us with His strength. Above all else, we require the graciousness of our Lord and the strength of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Let this be our prayer for today, trusting that all other needs will be provided.

In Christ Alone.
