Nothing to Fear | Oct. 8th

“The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

    Hebrews 13:6

Beloved, if we are honest, people can do many things to us that we do not appreciate.  There are some things we have experienced at the hands of others that were not intentional, but they still had a negative impact on us.

Unfortunately, others have acted maliciously towards us with intent. They have said hurtful things, spread lies, or tried to discourage us in some capacity. Then there is the struggle of living in a fallen world where the spirit of this age wars against those who belong to Christ. We are surrounded by conflict.

However, through all of this, God is our helper. There is nothing anyone can do that will change God’s purposes for your life. No one can separate you from His love for you or keep the blessings of God away. If we understand the providence of God, His love for us, and that the Lord is faithful, then we will not fear. There is nothing man can do against us outside of God’s knowledge. The Lord is our helper, and He will work all things for our eternal good.

In Christ Alone.
