On Your Side | Feb. 6th

"If it had not been the Lord who was on our side - let Israel now say - if it had not been the Lord who was on our side...Our help is in the name of the Lord,"


Psalm 124:1-2,8


The Psalmist knew that it was because of God's intervention that Israel was preserved. Israel is exhorted to exclaim their dependence upon God and gratitude for His salvation.

May the redeemed of the Lord follow their example, and may we understand that we are saved by grace alone through Christ alone. Jesus has rescued us from the enemy and purchased us from the slave block of sin. Ransoming us with His own life.

Let us lift our hands to God and praise His holy name for the great things He has done for us. Today recognize that if it had not been for the Lord, we would still be lost. God is on your side today if you are in Christ.
