Peace | April 17th

"The peace of god, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Philippians 4:7

Peace is a precious commodity. We cannot live without it and long for it to be restored to us when it is absent.

The need for peace can be felt in many different areas of our lives. We long for tranquility amid our relationships. We hope to be at rest concerning our future. We desire to see peace in our country. There is comfort and encouragement when people speak words of peace towards one another. We try to secure peace in our strength, wisdom, and resources but find that it is not secure.

Christ is the only true source of peace. He can bring peace to every area of our lives and fill us with blessed hope. A peace that will strengthen the mind and heart. Let us come to the Lord today and cast all of our cares upon Him. The Holy Spirit will fill us with the peace of God so that we might be at peace.

In Christ Alone.
