“At the acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.”

   Psalm 69:13

Beloved, let our petitions be grounded upon the truth found within this verse. It is our Heavenly Father that we come to. To Him we bring our burdens and cares. There is nothing too hard for God.

Our prayers are offered in humility. Trusting in the providence of our sovereign Lord. He will answer according to His will and purposes. At the right time and in a way that will be glory to His name while being for our redemptive good.

Because of God’s unfailing love, we are received, heard, and answered. There is no merit of our own that enables us to stand before God or to make any request of Him. It is by grace alone we stand. The love of God drives fear from our hearts and assures us that we are welcomed in Christ.

God is faithful and willing to save. These truths bring peace into our spirits and a hope that all things are working for our good. In light of God’s word, make your request known unto Him with thanksgiving in your heart.

In Christ Alone.
