Resting | March 14th

"Come to me. all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Matthew 11:28

The idea of having a moment of rest can be comforting and bring hope. Sometimes, we long for the day to end so that we might find rest. The day often wearies our bodies, minds, and hearts. Even days filled with enjoyment can cause us to be tired.

The brokenness of our spirit from sin, grief, and the pains of life cause the most fatigue upon the soul. We are troubled by what we see in our hearts and the chaos of sin in the world around us. In the midst of despair let us hear the voice of the Savior calling us to come.

He will soothe your troubled heart beloved. The Prince of Peace will give you rest in your spirit. Come to Him today and cast all your cares upon the Lord for He cares for you.

In Christ Alone.
