“Surely I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

  Revelation 22:20

With the dawning of another year at hand, let us not relent in looking upward. The coming of the Lord would not appear soon by our estimation, but He is not delayed. For at the right time Christ laid down His life for us. The second coming of Christ has its precise time, which God alone knows.

Until then, let us live intentionally for the glory of God by seeking daily fellowship with Him in prayer, scripture, and love for others. Remember, the Holy Spirit dwells within us, uniting us to Christ and the Father. Let us find our comfort in this truth throughout our lives and as we face death.

Let us encourage one another with the hope of eternal union with Christ and with all who trust in Him. As we wait, we actively anticipate His coming by remaining steadfast in faith and love. Even so, come quickly.

In Christ Alone.
