Strength for Life | April 11th

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

Psalm 73:26

There will come a day when our flesh will fail. The outward man is passing away, but we have a blessed hope that our inward man will be renewed daily. We cannot escape the slow weakening of our bodies, but we look forward to the day when this mortal shall put on immortality.

The heart of man is susceptible to euphoric heights and dark depths. We can be tossed to and fro by the tides of life unless we are anchored in Christ. He is the firm foundation of our spirit and mind. The Prince of peace that guards our hearts. Let us come to Him and entrust ourselves to the goodness of the Lord. The Lord will strengthen you by His mighty power.

In Christ Alone.
