God's firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: "The Lord knows those who are his."

2 Timothy 2:19

The church will always stand firm. It has often come under attack, whether by persecution or heresy, but it remains.

The church will always remain because its builder and maker is God. Christ is the cornerstone and capstone of His house. The Lord builds His house with living stones joined together in Him. The Lord knows those who are His.

He knows every heart and life in the church. It is a solemn reminder and one of comfort. When we see fellow believers finish their race well, be assured that the Spirit of God will enable us to finish our course well. The Lord knows you belong to Him, and He will keep you to the end.

In Christ Alone.
