The Light of Day | April 14th

"When I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me."

Micah 7:8

The darkness of night befalls all of us. It reminds us that there are seasons of darkness within our lives, but none of them are permanent. Just as the night gives way to a new day, we find the mercies of God new every morning.

This conviction is more than an optimistic outlook on life. It is a firm faith rooted in the goodness and steadfast love of God. We know that there is not a night so dark that we are hidden from God. He is with us all the days of our lives.

Our hope comes from knowing what Christ has done for us in redemption. We belong to God and will never be forsaken. God is with you beloved, though the night is dark, the Lord will light upon you in mercy.

In Christ Alone,.
