The Perfect Gift | Dec. 25th

 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”

  Ephesians 2:8

   Salvation in Christ is the perfect gift, continually blessing us. We are saved by grace alone and continue to stand in that sustaining grace of God. No greater gift has ever been given or received.

   Beloved, having received such a great and precious gift, let the light of Christ shine through you. Prayerfully seek the Holy Spirit's empowerment to live for Christ and in the Spirit. Give the gift of God’s love by not being easily provoked and by not keeping records of wrongs. Let us not be self-seeking but prefer others, serving all as our Lord did. Give the gift of God’s love by being Christ-like.

   The love of God is the perfect gift that we can give to others. One that can be given year-round. It will always be needed and warmly received, so give generously, the Lord will always supply his love for willing vessels.
