Unwilling to Willing | Sep. 26th

“Uphold me with a willing spirit.”

   Psalm 51:12

Beloved, are you weary today? There are moments when we are not willing to surrender to God. We struggle to forgive others when we have been hurt. Faith seems to escape us. The trial feels overwhelming. Our spirit grows tired in such seasons and for many other reasons.

However, let us not fall into despair. God is with us. Take the example of the Psalmist and ask the Lord to give you a willing spirit. Ask the Lord to renew your inner spirit. To not only comfort you but also empower you to stand strong. To be willing to serve the Lord no matter the cost and to follow Him in faithful obedience. This request will not go unanswered. The Spirit of the Lord will enable you to carry on in His strength. God will uphold you today.

In Christ Alone.
