When All Others Forsake You | May 16th

" For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, and he has not hidden his face from him, but has heard, when he cried to him."

Psalm 22:24

Sometimes our darkest and most painful moments drive people away from us. It is not because we have done anything, but our pain becomes overbearing for others to witness.

Beloved, in such times do not despair. Do not allow the pain of isolation and loneliness to cause hopelessness. Though all others forsake you, God will never leave you. Others may not understand or assume that you have brought the turmoil upon yourself, but the Lord will still not abandon you. Even through our faults and failures, God is steadfast.

When we cry out to God, He comes to us. The Lord will not turn His face away from us. He hears you and will help you. Bring yourself and all your cares to the One who first loved you.
