When I Stumble | Feb. 4th

"He will guard the feet of his faithful ones."

1 Samuel 2:9

One of the things my children learned in martial arts was break fall. So you can properly break your fall, whether backward, side to side, or forward. The intention is to keep you safe when you fall for whatever reason and minimize injury.

It is reassuring to know that our Heavenly Father is watching over us. He is the one who keeps our feet from straying and if we stumble the Lord is willing and able to pick us up again.

If you feel that you are stumbling today or perhaps have fallen, look up to the Savior. Ask the Lord to watch over your feet and heart. The Holy Spirit will empower those who ask for help and humble themselves before the throne of grace. God will guard your feet today.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
