"Set your mind on things that are above, not on things that are on earth."

Colossians 3:2

One of the fundamental rules in shooting is to aim at what you are trying to hit. This might sound obvious, but it is a reminder to be focused. Being distracted can affect your precision. Your eye needs to be fixed on the center of the target.

Let us set our minds on the things of God, fixing our attention upon God, His will, and His ways. If we aim for the things above each day, there will be less of a chance that we are distracted by the things of earth.

Our goal is to attain the treasures in heaven and not to accumulate those that pass away so easily on earth. Aim for the things above with focus.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
