No Holding Back | Jan. 7th

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor. No good thing does he withhold from those who walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!"

Psalm 84:11-12

Trusting God gives us a blessed assurance, and we experience peace throughout the day, knowing that our Heavenly Father is God and that He is providentially working in our lives.

If we have entrusted ourselves to God, we have this promise: He will not withhold any good thing from those who walk in obedience. All that we need, God will provide for us. If He denies us certain things, it is done so in wisdom and love.

The Lord knows what is best for us and what is necessary for our redemptive good and most beneficial for our souls. Bring your need to the Lord today. Cast your cares upon Him and trust that the Lord works all things out for your good.
