"I will heal their apostasy;"

Hosea 14:4

It is the season for colds and flu. Recently, cold-like symptoms have run through our family. Each person has a unique remedy for getting well.

When it comes to a backslidden heart, there is no home remedy for making the soul well again. This could leave us in a hopeless state if it were not for God's mercy and willingness to heal the sin-sick heart.

Let us be encouraged to pray for those who have strayed. To seek God's grace for those who once stood in the house of worship with us. The Lord has given up on them or us. He is faithful to call us unto Himself.

If we are the ones who have wandered away from God or purposely ran from His presence, repent. Repent with the full assurance that there is only one healer of our hearts, and the Lord is willing to heal our hardened hearts. May we hear the Spirit calling today.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
