Tired of Life | Oct. 3rd

“I am weary with crying out; my throat is parched. My eyes grow dim with waiting for my God.”

   Psalm 69:3

Beloved, the Lord has promised never to forsake us; however, there are seasons when we feel He has. One of the beautiful things about the Psalms is that nothing is hidden. We see the raw emotions that some Christians try to hide or ignore..

Some Christians act as if nothing terrible has ever happened to them in life. While others make you feel they have never doubted God, questioned their faith, or have been upset with God. There is true sorrow in the Christian life. Moments when we wonder if God hears us, sees us, or even knows we exist.

We are exhausted in prayer, tired of trying to believe, and wonder what the point of the trials is. In these seasons be not dismayed. Do not think that you are the only child of God who has ever dealt with such thoughts and conflicting feelings. But know this, many have come before you and others in the same place today, but God has never failed His people. His grace will prove sufficient, and mercy is covering you more than the cares of life. The cross proves the unfailing love of God and His promises

In Christ Alone.
