" Be content with what you have, for he has said, ' I will never leave you or forsake you.' So we can confidently say, ' The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to ?"

Hebrews 13:5-6

The desire to improve your circumstances or yourself is not sinful. The motive for improvement should not be fueled by covetousness. What helps us to keep our sinful nature is to trust in the faithful goodness of God.

If we understand the Lord is working providentially in our lives. We can rest in knowing that He is always with us. The Lord sees us and knows what we need. We do not have to be anxious for tomorrow. The Lord will bring what is necessary into our lives.

We learn to be content in any circumstances we find ourselves in because the Lord is with us, and we trust He is working all things for our good. Be content today. Count the blessings of God already in your life while asking Him to help you see His goodness in everything around you.

The Lord is your helper, and He will not forsake you.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
