"Now, therefore, thus says the Lord of hosts: Consider your ways."

Haggai 1:5

We are saved by grace alone in Christ, but we still must reflect upon our ways. The true believer considers their ways daily. It is something that should be prayerfully considered in the morning. Periodically throughout the day, we asses our ways as impressed upon by the Holy Spirit. It would also be beneficial for us to reflect on our ways in the evening, asking ourselves if our day was pleasing to the Lord.

We do not determine our ways by our definition but in light of scripture. We prayerfully ask the Lord to show us His ways and for the Spirit to enable us to conform to the likeness of Christ.

Our hope is knowing that God has promised to finish the good work He has begun in us. When we pray according to the Bible, the Spirit of God will change us and help us daily. Let us consider our ways today.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
