In the Storms of Life | May 12th

“Save us, Lord; we are perishing.”

  Matthew 8:25

Beloved, the storms in our lives prompt us to seek the Lord. Frequently, we are unprepared for life's circumstances, which unsettle us and reveal our vulnerability. In the midst of overwhelming trials, let us direct our pleas solely to God.

Christ slept during the storm because He had no fear of the tempest. He understood that the Father's will would be accomplished and that His life would not end at sea, as His purpose was to redeem humanity from sin. Those accompanying Him were also under His protection. Despite the howling wind and roaring sea, all remained secure.

The trials you encounter will not destroy you. Although they may bring doubt, fear, and distress, Christ remains with you. Nothing can remove you from God's care. He orchestrates all circumstances for your benefit. The providence of God continues to calm the winds and waves. He is present with you, ensuring you will not be lost.

In Christ Alone.
