“Let us not grow weary of doing good…”
Galatians 6:9
Beloved, why are we encouraged not to grow weary in doing good? Often, we expect immediate results or outcomes that correspond directly to our efforts. However, we may overlook the perspective of eternity, recognizing that some of the fruit of our actions is not visible to the natural eye.
The Kingdom of heaven and acts of faith are not always measurable by earthly standards. While some harvest may be experienced in this life, only heaven will reveal the complete harvest. Heaven will not only disclose the full extent of all that was done for good but will also confirm the authenticity of such acts.
If we remain focused on the ultimate goal, convinced that nothing done for God is in vain, we will be sustained through weariness. When our primary concern is pleasing God and seeking His approval for our good works, we are preserved from discouragement. Although moments of doubt and fatigue may arise, the Holy Spirit will provide strength, and the grace of God will be sufficient for every weary soul. Do not grow weary today; continue in doing good.
In Christ Alone.
