He Hears You Today | Nov 6th

"He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry. As soon as he hears it, he answers you."

   Isaiah 30:19

Beloved, have you ever found it hard to ask for help? Maybe you thought no one would listen. Sometimes, painful experiences make it difficult to trust. When we fail or others let us down, it can weaken our faith or make us less willing to reach out.

The Lord desires to deliver us from this lack of trust. God has committed Himself to His people. Despite our failures, He promises never to leave us. He has not dealt with us as our sins deserve and continues to be patient with us. In Christ, we have been reconciled to God, a privilege beyond comprehension. The Holy God welcomes us into fellowship with Him. Scripture is filled with promises that provide hope and assurance that the Lord hears us and is for us.

The grace of God is ours in Christ. Our prayers are our appeals to the Lord and it is in that appeal that we experience His faithfulness and His goodness. Don't hesitate, don't doubt, don't be afraid. Raise your voice to the Lord and He will answer you. Even before you come to the throne of grace He knows your needs and He delights in His mercy to us.

In Christ Alone.
