Kept by Christ | July 17th

"He holds his priesthood permanently, because he continues forever. Consequently, he is able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them."

Hebrews 7:24-25

Our faith is often faint, and our hearts are cold. We tend to stray from the narrow path, seeking an easier way. At times, we lean on our understanding while forgetting the importance of praying, but through all of this, Christ remains the faithful intercessor.

Therefore, our faith is renewed, and times of refreshing come to our hearts. He enables us to persevere while we find our footing in the narrow path. We see the beauty of the narrow way and the reward that is ahead. Christ reveals to us our limited understanding, and petitions are lifted again.

Because Christ's priesthood is permanent, His intercession continues, and he eternally keeps us through grace alone. Let this be your hope and strength today.

In Christ Alone.
