“There was no place for them in the inn.”

   Luke 2:7

It is hard to imagine that the Son of God was born in a manger. Didn't they realize who this child was? The question we must ask ourselves, knowing who Christ is, is whether we are making room for Him in our lives.

We periodically purge our closets and storage spaces to make room for the things we want. Perhaps you deleted photos from your phone to free up more memory. Keeping those pictures that truly have meaning.

Let us not allow anything to crowd Christ out of our hearts and minds. He deserves and requires more than a prominent place. He should be preeminent in our lives. Our lives should be centered upon Jesus because we know exactly who He is. That the exalted end of our life is to live for the glory of God and to enjoy Him forever. Let us reflect on this truth during Christmas, making sure He truly is the Lord of our lives.

In Christ Alone.
