"May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!"

Psalm 29:11

Every person in this life desires to know what God promises in this verse, strength, and peace.

The trials of life take our strength and disturb the heart. There is a deep longing within the heart to rest, not only a momentary peace but one that is enduring. The people of God have a hope that the Lord is going to make all things new. When strength and peace will last for all eternity.

Jesus is our peace and strength today. The Spirit of God supplies our daily needs and gives us strength for the day. Our minds and hearts are guarded by Christ and kept in His reassuring peace.

Let us lay hold of this promise today, knowing the lasting fulfillment of permanent strength and peace is not too far off.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
