"When iniquities prevail against me, you atone for our transgressions."

Psalm 65:3

Various things in life can plague and overwhelm us. However, with time, medicine, and a plan, we can recover from many of these things. Our iniquities have slayed us, and we stand condemned before God.

No amount of time, planning, or medicine would ever enable us to be free from the penalty of our iniquity. The plea of the Psalmist is ours today. God alone has made atonement for our sins. Christ took upon Himself our iniquities. Jesus the Redeemer is our hope, joy, and peace.

He has taken our sins from us as far as the east is from the west; so far have they been removed. Come before the throne of grace today and find your forgiveness and peace in God.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
