"He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul."

Psalm 23:2,3

Waterfront property sells at a premium. It is sought after because of the views it offers and the tranquility associated with being near water. Not every view is the same, and the average person will never be able to afford to live directly on the water. One that offers a spectacular view and is safe from flooding.

The still waters the Good Shepherd leads His people by are accessible to all. Each has the promise of their soul being renewed and the comfort of abiding by God's serene waters. There is no threat here, only the hope of peace and comfort. It is a gift from the kindness of God. His promise to keep those that belong to Him and to ensure their safe travels in a dark world.

Take heart, beloved, come to the word of God, and find rest in the place of prayer. Cast your cares upon the Lord, and He will take you up in His arms.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
