The Angels of God | Nov. 13th

" The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them."

Psalm 34:7

Beloved, do you feel as if you are alone today? Do you think that you face your trials alone?

Do not be dismayed. God has promised never to forsake you and to work all things for your redemptive good. The Holy Spirit dwells within you. He comforts and empowers you through this life. In Christ, you have become a part of His church where the brothers and sisters of the Lord encourage each other.

The psalmist reveals another group dispatched by the Lord to minister to His people. The angelic host who carries out the purposes of God to the benefit of His people. Some have distorted this sacred blessing, but we cannot make the mistake of ignoring the scripture's mention of the angels of God and how they have acted on behalf of God for His people. They are not to be worshiped or prayed to our sought-after, but may we thank God for all His blessings and acknowledge we are not alone in this world.
