"God chose what is low and despised in the world."

1 Corinthians 1:28

Beloved, do not despair today if you are struggling with the significance of your life. In an age when people or events are sensationalized, one can wonder if their life matters.

It is not how well-known you are or how many talents you may have that matters, but faithfulness. God chose us while we were dead in sin. There was absolutely nothing significant about us or anything that we could offer to Him. We were chosen by grace alone. From this place of hopelessness, we were brought into fellowship with God and purpose.

The Lord makes us a vessel fit for His purpose. No matter how small the task or unnoticed by men, it is to be done for the glory of God, and in that, there is great reward. Faint not, who you are in Christ, and what you do for Him is not in vain.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
