Romans 7:23

There are many conflicts in the world today, including war and rumors of war. Unrest is prevalent in every area of our culture.

Some can escape external conflict, and for others, these battles are far from them. No one can escape the war of sin and the flesh. There has never been a heart at perfect peace. Hostility between the will of man and the will of God is prevalent.

We do not possess the power within ourselves to subdue the flesh or defeat the enemy of our soul. Who shall help us? Where will our victory come from, and how shall we overcome?

" Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!" v.25

Jesus Christ has overcome sin and death. He is our Redeemer, and in Jesus we overcome. Let us be strong in the Lord and the power of His might this day.
