Weak Faith | July 14th

"Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe."

John 20:27

Thomas struggled to believe that Christ arose from the grave. His lack of faith did not inhibit Jesus from coming to Thomas. Jesus appeared and addressed his lack of faith. Jesus strengthened Thomas's faith by assuring him that He was truly alive.

Beloved, every believer will face a trial in their life when their faith weakens. We will be challenged in what we believe and if it is worth following Christ. In such moments, God will not abandon us or become impatient. The Holy Spirit strengthens the heart of God's people. Mercy is extended, and the Lord meets us amid our doubts.

Be not dismayed today. The Lord is with you, and if you are filled with doubts, He remains faithful. The Lord will see you through.

In Christ Alone.
