“He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.”

   Psalm 62:2

Beloved, many things can change in a day; and over time, one can easily become overwhelmed by how much changes in life. Nothing lasts forever, and time is fleeting. What then shall be our rock, our salvation, or the fortress that shields us in this life that is but a vapor?

Christ alone is the foundation of our salvation. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever; therefore, we possess hope. Our salvation and the peace found in reconciliation with God are unchanging. Christ preserves us as the fortress of our souls.

Regardless of our experiences or the seasons we encounter, the Holy Spirit remains present. He provides comfort and strength, ensuring that we are not greatly shaken. This assurance sustains us each day. Let us rejoice and be glad in the Lord, confident that He will never forsake us and will provide sufficient grace. Seek refuge in Christ; He is a strong and mighty tower.

In Christ Alone.
