"Remember your leaders, those who spoke to you the word of God. Consider the outcome of their way of life, and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."

Hebrews 13:7-8

Memories can be precious, especially when we recall those dear saints who led us to Christ and nurtured us in the faith. The word of God calls us to keep these memories fresh in our minds. We want to memorialize those who have gone on before us and emulate their faithfulness to God.

The Lord was faithful to them for their entire lives. Likewise, the Lord will be faithful to equip us for His work. The Lord is faithful to every generation and will always have a people called by His name. People who are committed to the Lord and His work.

The servants of God who strengthen us in the Lord have entered into their rest. Now is the time for us to be committed to God and his people. Let us bless others as we have been blessed. As we come to then of our race, the Lord will establish those we have ministered to in Christ. Then, they must carry on in Christ and bless others.

The Lord is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The will of God shall be done, and the people of God shall endure by His power.

In Christ Alone,

Pastor Wight
