John 10:3

It is nice to be remembered. Having someone call you by name brings a sense of acceptance and a degree of benevolence. If someone remembers our name, we believe that they have taken the time to care about us and are interested in our lives.

These feelings deepen by how those who love and have known us for some time call us by name. The familiarity of their voice brings further comfort and a sense of belonging.

Can you believe and accept that the God of creation knows you and has called you by name? If this is true, there is no reason to be anxious today. There is no reason for you to question God's love or concern for you. He knows exactly who you are and what you are facing. He is the good Shepherd, He has called you by name and is leading in this day. Trust in Him.
